Kolmandat aastat järjest toimusid Baltikumis Youth Empowered üritused. 28. septembril osales umbes 350 noort üle Baltikumi terve päeva tegevustest, mis aitavad karjäärile mõeldes väljakutsetega silmitsi seista ja lahendusi leida. See oli esimene kord, kui antud üritus avati otse video ja ülekandega, mille avas CCHBC GM Jaak Mikkel jagades ka oma teadmisi ja näpunäiteid karjäärivõimaluste kohta.

Eesti

Eestis toimus Youth Empowered üritus nimega “Tasakaalus elu” ja see oli üles ehitatud ideelabori või hackathon-stiilina, kus ettevõtlikud tudengid saavad probleeme püstitada ja seejärel neile ärilahendusi leida. Teema puudutas järgmisi teemasid: keskkonnaaspektid ja jätkusuutlikkus, töö- ja isikliku elu tasakaal, keha ja vaimu tasakaal jne.

Üritus toimus Tallinnas MyFitness ruumides, mis oli ka üks partneritest koos peamise partneri - Junior Achievementiga - ja võõrustas kuni 50 õpilast koolidest üle Eesti.

Mitmed mõjukad esinejad rääkisid oma karjäärist ja tasakaalust elus - sealhulgas BU GM Jaak Mikkel, kes avas uue YE aasta kõnega Pan-Baltikumi videokonverentsina Balti riikide seas.

Päeval pidid õpilased rühmas või alustavas õpilasfirmas töötades tõstatama konkreetseid probleeme. Seejärel tutvustati neile protsessi,  kuidas oma ideid kokku koguda ja kuidas ettevõtte loomise voog välja näeb. Hiljem, samal päeval esitlesid meeskonnad müügiesitlusena antud ideid ka žüriile kes valis välja 3 silmapaistvat meeskonda.

Junior Achievement Eesti tegevdirektor Kersti Loor tundis heameelt, et Coca‑Cola HBC koos oma programmiga Youth Empowered andis õpilasfirmadele tõuke, andes väärtuslikku õppematerjali ja mentoreid: “Tänu saadud kogemustele on sellistel üritustel osalejad sageli hilisemas tegevuses edukamad. ”

Latvia

Already seventh #YouthEmpowered seminar in Latvia gathered together around 200 participants who spent an inspiring day gaining valuable knowledge on business and life skills and created a wide range of contacts. During the day six inspirational leaders shared also their personal experience on the way to success and their failures which appeared to be the stepping point for further growth and development reminding the students also that "Not always you have to work hard, sometimes you need to work wisely!”.

#Youth Empowered in Latvia is a joint project of Coca‑Cola HBC Latvia and Employers' Confederation. The program is developed in order to improve young people’s possibilities to reach their career aims and ambitions.

Lithuania

In Lithuania the event took place in Klaipeda around 100 students from different schools have gathered for a day that had several speakers talk about their career and what has helped them to choose it followed by activities with mentors. Attendees were divided into 20 groups and each group had a mentor. This year CCHBCC Lithuania Monika Balčiūnaitė, Rita Janulevičiūtė, Marius Kvaraciejus, Rimas Židonis, Aidas Liorančas, Gabrielė Šerėnienė and Agnė Daunytė have joined the event as mentors. During different activities mentees together with mentors had to come up with an idea that would help to choose career for young people and to present it in the manner of elevator pitch to the jury. At the end of the event mentors evaluated the ideas and have chosen the winning ones.

“I was highly impressed by creativity and courage of our young generation, - says Aidas Liorančas, Coca‑Cola HBC Lithuania KA manager and mentor of Youth Empowered. – It was definitely valuable experience for me to find out how open minded our youth is and I was glad to help them with my experience and advise.”

The #YouthEmpowered programme by Coca‑Cola HBC is designed to give young people access to the life and business skills they need to transition into work. It aims to improve employment prospects through access to employability workshops based training, online content and mentoring support.
