Why do we care?

Across our territories, the biggest societal challenge faced by youth today is unemployment. From the 75 million young people living in the countries where Coca‑Cola HBC does business, a staggering 16.5 million of those are unemployed, with many facing slim prospects of fulfilling their career ambitions. Youth unemployment is recognized social issue in Lithuania as ~10% of young people from 15 to 24 have no job.

At Coca‑Cola HBC, we passionately believe in the potential of young people. We know that they are the future leaders and change-makers for the communities that we live in. However, not all young people have the same opportunity to realize their potential.  Youth Empowered provides a platform for us to focus our efforts around Youth Development and to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people and to the communities in which we do business.
