Zug, Switzerland – 14 September 2018 – The 2018 Dow Jones Sustainability Indices – a leading global benchmark for sustainability in business – were published yesterday. Coca‑Cola HBC is ranked in the top three of both the Global and European beverage industry leagues after having been the industry leader for the past four years.
Coca‑Cola HBC Baltic business unit has now its own sustainability report, covering our efforts in that field in 2017.

On June 13, Minister of Welfare Janis Reirs congratulated 38 companies that have implemented family friendly business principles in their work and received the Family Friendly Company status this year. Among them for the third year in a row also "Coca‑Cola HBC Latvia".
One of the largest bottlers of Coca‑Cola products, Coca‑Cola Hellenic Bottling Company, has extended its limitations on the direct sales of added sugar beverages to primary schools in Baltic countries to also include secondary schools. This is to address concerns about the increasing daily intake of added sugars by children.
According to youths, employers have to be ready for millennials and adapt the work environment accordingly. Meanwhile, employers stress the importance of work ethics and self-motivation. With these and other conclusions, the debates between youths and employers came to an end yesterday, on 27 April.
